"but, what do i do with my face?"

Believe it or not, we hear that question frequently. Value Unconditional simplifies non-verbal and verbal communication by teaching you:

  • What to do with your face

  • What to do with your hands

  • What's okay to say

  • And what to never say

when supporting someone who is hurting.

You can learn these skills in our "Advocacy and Handling Disclosures" training.

Equipping Faith Leaders & families

Value Unconditional education is transforming the way faith-based communities respond to people who are hurting. Our trauma-informed training is customizable to help you meet the needs of the people you interact with,
and face the scenarios you're most likely to encounter with wisdom, compassion, and care.

why it matters: Faith Communities

A well-meaning but unskilled approach can unintentionally cause more harm—or miss an opportunity to provide resources, build relationships, and offer real healing. When someone is hurting, your response matters.

Our education program helps faith-based communities:

  • Build confidence in leaders and volunteers responsible for responding to crisis

  • Prevent re-traumatization by equipping your team with sensitive, skilled communication

  • Clearly define what is and is not the role of the staff or volunteer member

  • Create safer spaces where stories can be shared and transformation can begin

We help you wrestle with tough questions:

  • What do we say when we don’t know what to say?

  • How do we maintain healthy boundaries while still being compassionate?

  • How do I politely let someone know I am not the right person to help?

  • How do we support without enabling?

You no longer have to second-guess if you're responding the right way. With the right training, your team can move forward with clarity, wisdom, and care. Whether you’re navigating grief, domestic abuse, burnout, or the unspoken weight many you serve carry, we provide the skills, tools, and insight your leaders need to care deeply and lead wisely.
